UDOI project finished!

After two years of work the project User Driven Open Innovation (part of TIIVIT research program) ended up officially, YEAH! From our point of view the practical cases that where selected in the project proved to be difficult to be steered on an open innovation or even user driven direction, however some valuable lessons for those approaches where learned on the way. Its difficult to have it all!

In the end companies participating in the case studies where satisfied, all the deliverables have been reviewed and published, final seminar was held at VTT – Tampere in the end of May and few papers where written at least by us.

Arki-tonttu is particularly happy with the summaries of arki researcher’s insights condensed in these 3 posters:

Community innovation principles
Understanding user innovation in digital ecosystems
Augmenting the streets and aging together – learning from everyday interventions

Kudos to: Anne, Andrea, Kati, Kristine, Sanna, Aapo and Kari-Hans for their big and small contributions to this. Thanks to all the other partners too (kisses to Nokia NRC, Medineuvo and Tieto for coping with our bad mood ;-))
